My family's Dystonia story spans over 40 years. It began back in the 1970's when my younger brother Chuck was diagnosed after years of mysterious debilitating symptoms. Since Chuck died, the Saundercook family has worked tirelessly to continue to raise funds for better treatments, greater awareness, and more support for the 50,000 Canadians living with Dystonia in Canada today.
We are incredibly proud of the community our family has built around the memory of Chuck.
But we’ve done it thanks to the continued generosity of our network of friends, colleagues, and others who have taken up this important cause as their own.
As a Director on the DMRF Canada Board, I am honored to continue the challenge of finding a cure for Dystonia, for the thousands of families that are impacted by this disorder every day. As 2019 draws to a close, I hope you will consider donating to help us to continue towards our mission. Thank you for continuing to fight for a better future for patients with Dystonia.
