Navigating our Mental Health & Wellbeing, While Living With the Challenges of Dystonia - February 2019

We know that dystonia can be a challenging condition to live with, affecting different aspects of your life. Symptoms of anxiety and depression are common with a painful condition like dystonia. When seeking care for dystonia, it is rare that we get opportunities to discuss our mental health with health care providers.

On February 13, 2019 DMRF Canada will host a special webinar presentation with Mike Stroh, Founder of ‘Starts with Me’.  By webinar presentation, Mike will provide the group with tips, tools, and practices to cultivate a sense of agency to work with, rather than against the challenges associated with Dystonia and that often arise in negative thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and body sensations.
